The Rufous Treepie is a member of the crow family and therefore intelligent enough to know that when people are around, there’s often an easy meal to be had. For me, the challenge was to find a background that complemented the bird’s light orange breast, bring out the colours and try to make a picture that‘s still interesting, even though the Treepie is common in many parts of India.
